The teenage years and the process of aging into adulthood are filled with wonderful, wonder-filled times. The Student Ministry at Woodland Heights Baptist Church exists to partner with families as they strive to disciple the teenager in their lives.
The Jr. High and High School years are fundamental to the spiritual growth of a teenager’s life. Woodland Heights Student Ministry exists to help teenagers become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. See Matthew 28:18-20.
The WHBC Student Ministry helps student to know God, make faith their own and make God known. The student ministry provides an experienced team of adult volunteers committed to leading teenagers and partnering with parents during these important years of spiritual development. See Deuteronomy 6:4-7, Luke 2:52 and Ephesians 3:14-19.
College life is filled with transitions, opportunities and new beginnings. We strive to equip young adults follow wherever God leads. We strive to further the spiritual maturity of our college students as they Connect, Grow and Serve.
- CONNECT – connection to a local church is important to encourage growth. We are made to be a part of a community consequently connecting to a group is vital. Hebrews 10:23-25.
- GROW – growing in Christ is an essential part of being a follower of Jesus. We endeavor to journey alongside all who are a part Woodland Heights Baptist Church Collegiate Ministry as we grow through biblical discipleship. Psalm 119:9-11, Romans 12:1-2.
- SERVE – God provides excellent opportunity to serve and has placed Woodland Heights Baptist Church in the DFW community to shine our light before men to the glory of Jesus. Christ’s love for us compels us to serve Hurst-Euless-Bedford, DFW, Texas, our nation and the world as we work to share the love of Christ. See Matthew 28:18-20.
