Our Priorities

Equipping Generations of Believers is our top priority.

Equipped Believers allow the church to be all that God intended it to be! We seek to equip our members in three vital areas of the Christian life:

Worship — Our Creator is worthy of our worship and praise! Knowing what worship involves and providing avenues through which it takes place, both within the walls of the Sanctuary and without, is a key component of what it means to be the church. We believe our Praise should be an authentic expression of who we are and is best expressed with every generation standing together to sing to our King meaningful songs of the past and the present!

Discipleship — Every living organism needs to grow, or it will die. The Church is a living organism, enlivened by the presence of God in the lives of the individual members. We pursue such growth by seeking to build our relationship with each other and with God. We seek to accomplish this through clearly preaching and teaching the Bible, emphasizing a vibrant prayer and devotional life, and manifesting growth through challenging our members to lead.

Service — It’s in service to others that we best reflect the light of God and the life of Christ all Christians have been called to live. To be a Christian is to be a servant. We provide opportunities for every person to find a place of service and we are here to serve you! Feel free to come and serve with us!

A Message from the pastor

We are so grateful that you have taken the time to visit our website!

Woodland Heights is a multi-generational, multi-cultural church whose deepest desire is to honor the God who made us.  We seek to do this through authentic worship, Bible-driven preaching and teaching, and relationships with each other that extend beyond Sunday morning.

We are actively involved in serving in our community through Trinity Food Bank; Kids Beach Club at two local elementary schools; CPR, Night of Hope, and Operation Back to School partnerships with 6Stones Ministries; and many other activities.

Our church has partnered the last several years with IMB missionaries in Macedonia to bring the hope of the Gospel and to encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ there.

We really do believe that every member has a vital role to play in the work of their church and seek to find ways to allow them to express their gifts accordingly.

We would love to meet you. I think you will find us a warm and welcoming community with something for every age group.

Take some time to look through our website and see the opportunities available and to discover a little bit more about who we are.

Blessings in your search!

Pastor Tim Pierce
